PORTRAIT
For many years, the designer Sandrine Ganem, works and perfects her sense of color. Her collections of hand-painted porcelain and ceramics have been sold all around the world and her work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions.
In 2012, Sandrine Ganem began to knit herself the first models of Rose Carmine.
The collection takes shape and Rose Carmine appears as an obviousness. She wants to create the sweaters of her dreams. Those we can not find anywhere and have never seen on anyone. Expert and passionate about color, she designs her collection as works. She mixes colors between them, associates them in a bold and creative way, giving free rein to her desires. And then, she discovers wools, threads, materials ... A new universe opens to her. A world where she can combine all her colors, blossom and reveal her taste for a fashion that resembles her. Today, her knitwear creations take the form of sweaters, jackets, coats, ponchos, boleros and other accessories in dream colors and in carefully selected materials to make the dream come true. She uses a great know-how and each knitter puts her time and her heart into it. That's what makes each piece unique. She chooses wools and yarns of very good quality and creates a range of vibrant colors specially tinted for her. The Rose Carmine collection is an invitation to a current and timeless fashion, colorful and spontaneous, allowing mixtures of colors and refined forms. A different way of thinking mesh, modern, authentic and luxurious, by the time required for the creation and the care taken in the manufacture of each product, hand knitted.
Rose Carmine is a brand with a strong identity, a style and a universe personalized by its creator. We need beauty, gentleness, comfort and joie de vivre. Rose Carmine brings us back to our buried memories, our childhood, the time of our carelessness.

OUR KNOW-HOW
From the day one, the Rose Carmine collection has been entirely handmade. We have meticulously met with and selected the best workshops in Romania and Italy to produce all our designs in the best working conditions for our knitters, who are highly skilled knitters and crocheters. We have chosen to produce in Europe, ethically and ecologically, to avoid unnecessary quantities, waste, and pollution, as much as possible.
We use traditional, artisanal know-how, often passed down from mother to daughter, like a treasure. Knitting and crochet require great wisdom, a perfect understanding of the technique, a lot of time, and enormous patience. It takes several days to make a Rose Carmine sweater, entirely knitted and assembled by hand. Depending on the complexity of the design, three, four, five days... or more, are sometimes necessary. Also, some irregularities may occasionally appear and slip between the stitches; this is what gives the "handmade" charm, making each piece unique.
